If you work as a truck driver, you should know who your employer is and who the company’s transport manager is. Knowing who your employer and transport manager are makes it easier to check whether the company is operating legally, know who to contact if you have questions or want to make a complaint, protect yourself from fraudulent recruiters or fake employers, and understand who is responsible for organising your work. If you do not know who your employer is, if the company name does not match the one in your employment contract, or if nobody can tell you who the transport manager is, this may be a warning sign.

• the type of transport it is authorised to carry out,
• the name of the transport manager,
• details of the Community Licence and its certified copies,

You can search the register using the company name, company registration number, Community Licence number, or authorisation number.
